Welcome to Adaptive Care Services, where passion meets purpose in supporting individuals with special needs to live active, fulfilling lives. Our company was founded with the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to be active, engaged, and supported—regardless of their abilities.

Who We Are

We are Eryk Bujalski and Paul Battilana, proud alumni of McMaster University, and founders of Adaptive Care Services. Throughout our time at McMaster, we were not only student-athletes but also captains of the McMaster Varsity Football Team. Our experience as athletes taught us the value of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance — but it also sparked something deeper within us: a shared passion for making a difference in the lives of others.

It was through our connections on the football team that we had the opportunity to work with young adults with both physical and mental disabilities. This experience became a turning point for us. We realized that we had the skills and the heart to help individuals with special needs live a more active, healthy, and fulfilling life. From that moment on, we were committed to using our experiences and talents to empower those who needed it most.

Our Journey

At Adaptive Care Services, we draw from several years of hands-on experience working with young adults with various exceptionalities. Through these experiences, we’ve come to understand that every person is unique, and we tailor our approach to meet each individual’s specific needs, preferences, and abilities.

What sets us apart is our commitment to building genuine relationships with the individuals we work with. Our goal is not simply to be viewed as "support workers"—we strive to be seen as friends, mentors, and advocates. We believe that true progress comes from building trust and creating a connection that fosters growth, confidence, and well-being.
